Alberta invited 34 health care workers through its Express Entry-aligned health care stream. The minimum required score was 60. - April 4, 2025 – Priority Sectors: Health Care
This draw targeted 19 candidates under the Alberta Express Entry stream for high-demand health care roles. The minimum score was 71. - April 8, 2025 – Non-Express Entry Health Care Pathway
Alberta issued 28 invitations via the base stream for eligible health professionals. The lowest-ranking candidate had a score of 53.

Eligibility – Non-Express Entry Pathway:
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid job offer in Alberta in an eligible health care role;
- Meet at least CLB 5 in all language abilities or demonstrate licensure-based language competency;
- Provide proof of meeting regulatory licensure requirements in Alberta;
- Have valid work authorization or maintained status if already working in Alberta.
Note: This stream is for candidates who do not qualify for the Express Entry version.
Eligibility – Express Entry Health Care Pathway:
Applicants must:
- Be eligible for Express Entry with a CRS score of 300+;
- Have a primary occupation listed in one of the qualifying health care roles;
- For Priority Sector draws, hold a valid job offer in Alberta in a listed health care occupation.
